Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti

Listen To/Read About IJDH on the Radio, TV and in Print

In the wake of the recent earthquakes in Haiti, many people are turning to IJDH for credible reports of the situation on the ground, the historical context that led to the extreme vulnerability of Haiti to environmental stresses, and ways to move forward with assistance that takes into account human rights and building government capacity to mitigate effects of the next disaster.

You can listen to IJDH Director Brian Concannon, BAI Managing Director Mario Joseph and our collaborators including, among others, Doctor Evan Lyon with Partners in Health on radio and television broadcasts as well as read articles both written by IJDH and including IJDH’s perspective on our Media page. We are also collecting and posting general news articles regarding the earthquake relevant to our work – seeking respect for human rights and justice for Haiti’s poor during this tragedy – in our News Archive section.

Thank you again for all of your support as we work with the people of Haiti to build a stronger, more just society.
