U.S. Conference of Mayors Unanimously Passed a Resolution Urging Humanitarian Parole for 55,000 Approved Haitian Beneficiaries

In a victory for advocates of Haitian immigrant rights, the U.S. Conference of Mayors urged parole of 55,000 approved Haitian beneficiaries to speed recovery in Haiti via vastly increased remittance flow.  The resolution was adopted unanimously on June 14, 2010.
