Today we have an audio update from IJDH Director Brian Concannon. Telling a story about his son’s recent trip to the hospital, Brian reflects on why he has dedicated his life to providing legal services to the poor and how IJDH’s legal work also relates to Haitians’ right to healthcare.
Brian is the Founder and Director of IJDH. He helped prepare the prosecution of the Raboteau Massacre trial in 2000, one of the most significant human rights cases anywhere in the Western Hemisphere and represented the plaintiff in Yvon Neptune v. Haiti, the only Haiti case ever tried before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
