Stakeholder teleconference on the TPS re-registration deadline extension for Haitian nationals.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites you to participate in a stakeholder teleconference to discuss the Temporary Protected Status extension for Haitian Nationals.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is extending the re-registration deadline from May 2, 2014, to July 22, 2014, for Haitian nationals who have already been granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and seek to maintain that status for an additional 18 months.
During this teleconference, USCIS officials will share information about the TPS re-registration period and explain the re-registration procedures for eligible beneficiaries. USCIS officials will also provide information on employment authorization documents, fee waivers, and respond to your questions and concerns.
Additional information on TPS for Haiti—including guidance on eligibility, application process, and where to file—is available online at www.uscis.gov/tps. Further details on the initial extension of TPS for Haiti, including application requirements and procedures, are available in the Federal Register notice published March 3, 2014. For more information about USCIS and its programs, visit www.uscis.gov.
