Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti

I Am Asking You to Join Me at Gotham Comedy Club Tonight in Support of Justice and Democracy in Haiti

Dear IJDH and BAI’s supporters

I am writing to ask you to join me today at Gotham Comedy Club in New York for the funniest comedy show with Haitian-American comedians J-L Cauvin, Tanael Joachim and Reg Thomas and our host Vladimir Calixte, known as Haitian V. The goal is to bring together people who care about justice and democracy in Haiti to learn about how the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) and the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux (BAI) continue to fight for the respect of the Haitian people’s human rights in Haiti and abroad.

In the past 13 years, I have witnessed the impact of IJDH and BAI’s advocacy and legal work on the lives of Haiti’s grassroots movement while providing legal service and making Haiti safe for Haitian human rights activists.

Buy your ticket today to help IJDH and BAI:

  •  Keep the pressure on the UN until it delivers on its promise to raise $400 million to eliminate cholera in Haiti and compensate the victims;
  •  Win justice for victims of rape while addressing the systemic issues that make women vulnerable to sexual assault; and
  •  Stand up for Haitians in the U.S. targeted by President Trump’s racist immigration policies.

Bring your family and friends! You can buy as many tickets as you’d like! If you can’t make it, that’s ok. You can gift your ticket to a friend living in the New York Metropolitan area. We would love to have you there!

All proceeds will benefit BAI/IJDH’s advocacy and legal work in Haiti!

Buy your ticket(s) today at the Gotham Comedy website (use our promo code “jistis” to get $10 off your ticket)! Spaces are limited and tickets are expected to sell out quickly!
