A new massacre in Grand Ravine

      Thursday July 6, 2006 in the evening, a group of heavily armed men coming from the TI BWA, the FWA and Descartes locality massacred more than (20) twenty person and burned scores of houses in Grand Ravine.

      According to witnesses' interviewed by the investigators AUMOHD sent, this acts is a continuation of the massacre which took place the 20 and last 21 August, 2005. It should be noted that this new massacre against the civilian population of Grand Ravine occurred at a time when the govening judge, judge Jean Perez PAUL, has released all the authors and the accomplice of the first massacre. This is a very hard blow for us the defenders of human rights in Haiti.

             Jeudi 6 Juillet 2006 dans la soirée, un groupe d’homme lourdement armé venant de la localité de  TI BWA, La FWA et Descartes ont massacré plus de (20) vingt personne et a brûlé une vingtaine de maison à grand ravin. Selon les témoins interviewés par les enquêteurs de AUMOHD envoyés sur place,  il s’agit d’une suite du massacre qui a eu lieu les 20 et 21 Août dernier. Il faut noter que ce nouveau massacre contre la population civile de GRAND Ravin est survenu à un moment ou le juge Jean Pères PAUL  a libéré presque tous les presumes auteurs et complices du premier massacre.

C’est un coup très dur pour nous les défenseurs de droits humains.
