Bertha UK Ltd is seeking a full-time Program Director for the Bertha Justice Initiative program. The successful candidate will be based in the Bertha offices in London. Bertha UK Ltd advises the Bertha Foundation in Geneva. The Bertha Foundation supports forms of activism that aim to bring about change and champions those using media and law as tools to achieve their vision (http://www.berthafoundation.org/). Avocats-Stagiaires du BAI décrivent leur lutte pour la justice pour le choléra

Octobre 2015 marque cinq ans depuis que l’ONU a commencé une épidémie de choléra en Haïti, et cinq ans depuis les victimes du l’épidémie ont commencé a réclamer justice. Dans la campagne “Face Justice,” les victimes et les avocats du Bureau des Avocats Internationaux ont affichée des photos des victimes contre les murs siégeant le Local de l’ONU à Port-au-Prince. La journée prochaine ils ont tenu un Sitting devant le siège de l’ONU en vue d’exprimer leur revendications. Outre l’inaction de l’ONU, le gouvernement haïtien n’a pas encore de soutenir les revendications des victimes du choléra. BAI/IJDH Cholera Justice Case Supported by Bertha Justice Initiative

IJDH represents +5,000 Haitian cholera victims in a lawsuit against the United Nations, which is currently in the appeals process in New York Federal Court. The lawsuit is supported by scholars and experts around the world. Among these are notable Bertha Justice Initiative partner organizations, which have dedicated their own time and effort to eliminating governments’ and organizations’ limitless impunity around the world. Rural Haitian Communities Tackle Access to Justice
