UN Secretary-General Finally Apologizes to Haiti for Cholera

Since United Nations peacekeepers brought cholera to Haiti in 2010, the UN has neither acknowledged its culpability nor apologized. On Thursday, December 1 though, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon apologized to the Haitian people in a briefing that was also broadcast live.
