PEN American Center Hiring Development Fellow

The Fellow will support the President and Board of PEN Haiti in reviewing and implementing strategic priorities in PEN’s work to promote literature and defend free expression, potentially including fundraising, outreach, advocacy, public programming, and organizational development. PEN Haiti Hiring a New Fellow

PEN American Center is offering a fellowship to support their colleagues at PEN Haiti. Essentially they are looking for an energetic young development or human rights professional (possibly a recent Master’s program graduate, for example). The best candidate would be fluent in Creole and French, but possibly could manage with French. The Fellow would be supporting the president of PEN Haiti and its board, helping to continue building the organization and its role in promoting literature and free expression in Haiti. The position offers a great opportunity to develop expertise through four months in Haiti, and includes $1,000 per month stipend plus round-trip travel and insurance.
