Assessing Progress in Haiti Act Seeks Reconstruction Accountability

Heads of development, faith-based, human rights, and social justice organizations sent this letter to Senators Menendez and Corker to emphasize the importance of the Assessing Progress in Haiti Act of 2013. This bill, which has bipartian support, will hold USAID and other relief organizations accountable for proper use of funds meant for post-2010-earthquake recovery and reconstruction in Haiti.
