Mario Joseph is a lawyer. As you know he is pleading before the United Nations (UN) to demand reparations for the cholera epidemic that the UN soldiers introduced to us in Haiti. Lawyer Mario, We hope your work will bear fruit. [And] we hope UN will remedy this country.

Cholera is still raging the country, especially after the recent hurricane. We have registered many cases, particularly in the Municipality of Las Cahobas. We demand that UN remedy for this department [ the Province of Plateau Central] for this disease that killed so many people, including many mothers and fathers. As a result of that, we are dealing with a lot of children without parents [orphans] because of the cholera epidemic who is a disease that was introduced by UN soldiers to the people in this province [Plateau Central]. A lot of parents lost their children [too].
