Lawyer Mario Joseph is here with us. He’s the one who’s fighting along with a team of national and international lawyers for justice and reparations for all of the victims of the cholera epidemic. On August 18th 2016, the United Nations publicly acknowledged that within three months, it will give a response to the victims. If Lawyer Mario is here today, he is here to help the cholera victims get reparations Lawyer, thank you for the work you are doing for this country. Thank you for being here.

I publicly took a position on the cholera issue. I said that the UN has a moral responsibility toward all cholera victims. What does that mean? It means that everybody who’s working on the cholera case should feel and understand that there is to be one group–a national group–because this is a national issue.
It’s not an issue limited to an entity or subject. It’s not an issue limited to a law firm or for a particular person. It’s a national issue.
Because the UN recognized its moral responsibility in the cholera case, then automatically we have rights to redress not only for the victims, but for everything they promised us in order for us to put this issue to rest.
